Quick answers about how Agumba works. For anything about your own journey, use Ask Agumba.

What is Agumba?

A step-by-step guide for adult newcomers to the UK. It turns official guidance into a personal, prioritised journey — what matters now, what to do next, and the practical steps that move you forward.

Where does the guidance come from?

GOV.UK, NHS, HMRC and other official bodies. Every step links to its official source so you can verify everything yourself. If we cannot source it, we do not state it.

What does a readiness percentage mean?

It describes how far along your applicable steps are — never a prediction of success. Your figure is built only from the steps you have actually completed.

Is my data mine?

Your roadmap and progress live in your account and are used to personalise your journey. We do not ask for passport scans or bank statements, and we do not sell personal data.

Is Agumba free?

Essential UK guidance — the official sources behind every step, knowing what matters now and what to do next, and honest escalation — is free, permanently. We may charge for deeper personalisation and value-added tools, never for basic safety information.

Can Agumba give me legal or immigration advice?

No. Agumba helps you understand and act on official information, and tells you when a matter needs a qualified professional.
