Who’s behind Agumba.

I’m Anthony Udobia, founder of Agumba. I came to the UK to study and earned a Master’s in International Management at Teesside University, along with project management qualifications from APM and AgilePM. I now live and work in London.
Like many newcomers, I had to work out eVisas, National Insurance, banking, GP registration and the UK job market mostly on my own, and I saw how much time and money wrong information can cost. Agumba is the guide I wish I’d had: every step in the right order, every step linked to the official source.

Agumba exists because arriving in the UK as an adult means facing decisions that shape your housing, work and status — usually without a map. Information exists, but it is scattered across GOV.UK, NHS pages, HMRC guidance and dozens of official bodies. Knowing it exists is not the same as knowing what to do next.
Agumba turns official UK guidance into a personal, prioritised journey:
Arrive → Understand → Stabilise → Earn → Develop → Build → Prosper
It is a step-by-step guide, not a content library. Every step explains why it matters, links to the official source so you can verify it yourself, and tells you honestly when a matter is beyond our place — and points you to qualified professional help instead.
Built from official sources
Every settlement step links to GOV.UK, NHS or another official body. If we cannot source it, we do not state it. Every knowledge item carries a verified date.
Essential guidance is never behind payment
The essential things — the official sources behind every step, knowing what matters now and what to do next, and honest escalation — stay free, permanently. We build value-added products on top of that foundation, never in front of it.
Not advice
Agumba does not provide legal, immigration or regulated financial advice. It helps you understand and act on official information, and tells you when a matter needs a qualified professional.
